  2. SYMPTOMS include impaired hearing, swelling of the neck and glands, pain and
  3. a feeling of fullness in the affected ear.
  4. CAUSES. Bacteria causes boils which is inflamed lumps with a center core.
  5. They may develop as an outbreak elsewhere or just in the ear.
  6. TREATMENT. An incision may be required to remove the core.
  7. .Medication may be required to treat the boil.
